Pay Range: $55-$60

Job Description:

A global financial industry leader is looking for a contract to hire Sr. Business Systems Analyst (Financial Systems). This position leads and oversees the strategic use of the Oracle Revenue Management and Billing (ORMB) platform and may also lead or participate in Oracle Fusion ERP and EPM projects as needed. This includes understanding current business processes and functional requirements and defining optimal solutions with our IT partners (improving processes, defining optimal and scalable configuration or development, and leveraging system functionality and automation). This position is also responsible for ensuring business and team processes and controls are documented, appropriately updated, and followed to ensure successful projects, operational compliance, and knowledge continuity. This leader will develop and rely on strong relationships with treasury, settlement, billing, accounting, FP&A, tax, IT, and other departments to collaboratively develop a strategic roadmap and successfully deliver value for the organization and our customers.

Primary Responsibilities:

* Work both independently and as a leader; serve as a business systems analyst, project manager, functional application subject matter expert, and tester as needed. Partner with solution architects & IT to ensure appropriate solutions are implemented. Thoroughly understand business processes and opportunities, create business requirements, recommend strategic process improvement and optimal, scalable technology solutions, ensure configuration and development satisfy requirements, oversee and participate in testing, prepare documentation, deliver training, and provide ongoing support for ORMB. Communicate regularly, clearly, and succinctly to senior leadership regarding status, issues, and decisions needed.

* Collaborate with business partners and IT Leadership to develop a comprehensive roadmap for the enhancement, consolidation, and/or replacement of the applications within their portfolio with the goal of less cost, greater accuracy/higher quality, and greater value. Develop business cases that include comprehensive costs, benefits, break-even, ROI, and measurements. Identify resource and budget needs; create risk mitigation plans.

* Provide operational support, maintenance, and configuration for ORMB. Work with IT to manage and report on incidents, service requests, change requests, root cause analysis, and other operational data. Conduct regular governance meetings with business leaders to prioritize enhancement work and the associated backlog. Write and communicate Release Notes for the business audience.

* Report on key metrics to senior leadership. This includes actuals vs. forecasts, operational metrics, budgets, and other metrics. Oversee and participate in preparing financial plans.

* Manage and ensure the integrity of how ORMB and Oracle ERP systems are used.

This includes:

o Data structures, tenets, relationships.

o Ensuring system interfaces and integrations are properly designed, monitored, and managed.

o Ensuring processes and procedures are adhered to.

o Ensuring roles, permissions, and access are regularly reviewed for relevance to the role, acted upon, and aligned with vendor license agreements.

o Licensing strategy, usage, and optimization

o Manage key projects for the CFO, CAO, Treasury, FP&A, and other key stakeholders.

o Ensure change and release management processes are followed and properly documented so the entire team and stakeholders have visibility, and an opportunity to assess impact, test, and communicate as needed.

o Develop, coach, and mentor peers and team members.

Education

* Bachelor's degree in MIS, Accounting, or related field; relevant experience without a degree will be considered

Experience:

* 5+ years of hands-on ORMB experience (requirements, solutioning, testing, setup, config, maintenance, troubleshooting, reporting), and/or ERP, EDM, EPM (e.g., Oracle Fusion General Ledger, Procurement, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, ARCS, Enterprise Planning & Budgeting, Projects…).

* 5+ years of business analyst and/or project management experience.

* Successful experience in managing remote resources in a matrixed environment.

* Experience in partnering with vendors and consultants, overseeing and managing deliverables, negotiations, and relationships.

Skills:

* Comprehensive and extensive knowledge of ORMB capabilities; knowledge of Oracle Fusion ERP capabilities a plus

* Experience implementing new functionality; knowledge of the end-to-end process of migrations, conversions, implementations, etc.

* Exceptional organizational and project management skills

* Ability to define and maintain strong process and system controls.

* Demonstrated ability to manage and meet deadlines.

* Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills.

* Resourcefulness

* Sense of urgency

* Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including the creation of PowerPoint decks for senior leadership.

* Demonstration of strong core competencies such as critical thinking, relationship building, leadership, negotiation, business case development, ability to lead change, attention to detail, analysis, and problem-solving.

* Need to be able to be hands-on as well as strategic.

* Ability to innovate and improve systems, reporting, and processes. Knowledge of and experience with Oracle ERP, EPM, EDM, Data Management, Essbase, and other relevant cloud systems. Cognos, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), etc. desired.

* Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles, and general financial processes desired

* Familiarity with Java and Oracle databases desired.

* Must be fluent in English.
