S2P Sustainability Project Manager IVBCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated S2P Sustainability Project Manager IV for a Remote opportunity.Position Title: [Program Manager II]Location: Remote(Austin, Bay area, Seattle, Redmond, NYC)Anticipated Start Date: 04/15/24Please note this is the target date and is subject to change. BCforward will send official notice ahead of a confirmed start date.Expected Duration: [12 Months with possibility of extension]Job Type: Contract - [FULL TIME (40 Hours a week)]Pay Range: $80/hr-$85/hrPlease note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.).Responsibilities:Drive engagement strategies with Clients selected suppliers on value chain GHG emissions reduction.Analyze supplier GHG data, targets, roadmaps and solutions for trends, projections and decision-making.Coordinate with internal stakeholders (e.g. procurement teams, supplier managers) and external stakeholders (Suppliers) to deliver timely projectsScale the impact of suppliers and internal initiatives to accelerate value chain GHG emissions reduction.Partner with cross functional teams to support the development and execution of new and existing GHG reduction initiatives.Effectively communicate program progress internally Minimum QualificationsUndergraduate degree in environmental science, business or related field6-8 years of related experience in fields related to sustainabilityExpertise in GHG accounting, GHG target setting, Roadmap development, and engaging with suppliers.Strong analytical capabilities and ability to manage complex data, advanced Excel and data analytics proficiency.Strong project management skills with demonstrated ability to self-manage complex delivery in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.A team player and strategic thinker who can ideate and help us scale initiatives that accelerate Clients scope 3 GHG emissions reduction with suppliers.A self starter, with a proven ability to diplomatically resolve issues through understanding conflicting inputs, achieving alignment, and proposing go-forward solutionsExperience working with interdisciplinary teams (e.g. Sustainability, Procurement Teams, Business teams, Engineering) and managing relationships with complex stakeholdersDemonstrated flexibility and ability and willingness to learn and work on projectsFamiliarity with global and sectoral sustainability initiatives.Strong understanding of Clients products and services.Excellent written and verbal communications skills.Ability to travel (10%) Preferred QualificationsMasters degree in related field (e.g. MBA, Masters in Sustainability Management, Environmental science)GHG software and tools operation experienceTableau proficiencyProficiency in electrical and electronics manufacturing sectorBenefits:BCforward offers all eligible employees a comprehensive benefits package including, but not limited to major medical, HSA, dental, vision, employer-provided group life, voluntary life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, and 401k.Keywords:[Sustainability, GHG, Net Zero ]About BCforward:Founded in 1998 on the idea that industry leaders needed a professional service, and workforce management expert, to fuel the development and execution of core business and technology strategies, BCforward is a Black-owned firm providing unique solutions supporting value capture and digital product delivery needs for organizations around the world.
