BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Business Analyst 2 for an opportunity in Redmond, WA- Hybrid!

Position Title: Business Analyst 2

Location: Redmond, WA- Hybrid

Anticipated Start Date: ASAP

Please note this is the target date and is subject to change. BCforward will send official notice ahead of a confirmed start date.

Expected Duration: 02+ Month(Highly possibility for extension)

Job Type: [FULL TIME [CONTRACT], [Hybrid]

Pay Range: [$20] - [$25]

Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.).

Requirement:

1. Minimum 2-4 years' experience with Month and reconciliation in the finance side

2. Minimum 2-4 years' experience actual financial analysis, from actual revenue to financial reports and reconciliation, being able to determine accuracy determine any kind of red flags or any discrepancies that need to be thrown over to myself or the business analytics specialist.

3. Minimum 2-4 years' experience with Attention to details and communication skills we somebody that can enable follow process very closely and accurately.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reconcile revenue statements from the Console, Mobile and PC businesses, spanning financials and user engagement.
  • Contribute to monthly close processes by taking ownership of tasks such as creating journal entries, accruals, and variance reporting, adhering strictly to GAAP accounting principles.
  • Create reports and manage processes for royalty statements and payments to partners.
  • Aid Business Managers with ad hoc sales performance report creation and data validation.
  • Support Business Analytics Specialist with rhythm of business reporting and reconciliation.
  • Audit financial processes and recommend improvements to the team.
  • Document existing and new business operations processes.

    Additional Responsibilities:

  • Acquire data, develop, and maintain Excel based databases/data collection systems.
  • Monitor performance and quality control to identify efficiencies and improvements.
  • Evaluate business processes, anticipate requirements, uncover areas for improvement, and develop and implement solutions.
  • Effectively communicate insights and plans within the Business Team
  • Monitor and maintain accurate financial records and status of partners to facilitate effective financial management, invoicing, and reporting.

    Qualifications/Skills

  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and competency in MS Word and Outlook
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Crucial Projects/Areas of Need
  • Royalty Payment Data Validation (Quarterly)
  • Track receipt of and validate data from multiple sales statements (direct from platform partners and from internal tools)
  • Once Excel data is validated, format and send for approvals.
  • 3P Platform Partner Revenue Statements (Weekly)
  • Reconcile each platform partner's revenue statements and collaborate with our Stockholm based team to issue PO/invoices for 3P platforms.
  • Monitor platform partner statement status through the Royalty Workbook (Excel), jointly managed by our team and Stockholm Finance Team
  • Calculate Mobile Accruals for Month End Process (ROB)
  • Utilize sales information from our Mobile platform partner's sales dashboard to calculate accruals for the month end.
  • Once Excel data is validated, format and send for approvals.
  • Once approved, partner with Studio Finance partner to ensure accurate entry into month end close files.

    Qualifications:

  • 2-4 years of experience in business operations and financial analysis
  • Bachelor's degree in business management, finance, accounting, or relevant field
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with strong financial background and understanding of GAAP accounting principles.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy along with excellent verbal, visual and written communication skills.
  • Track record of strong collaboration across teams
  • Passion for gaming and entertainment preferred.
