BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Application Programmer V for an opportunity in Charlotte, NC
Position Title: Application Programmer V
Location: Charlotte, NC
Expected Duration: 12 months

Responsible for developing, enhancing, modifying and/or maintaining regulatory reporting applications for Enterprise Stress Testing Technology within Finance Technology. Software developers design, code, test, debug, support and document programs as well as support activities for the corporate systems architecture. Software engineers work closely with business partners in defining requirements for system applications. Individual contributor role. Typically requires 5-7 years of applicable experience. Is clearly recognized as a content expert by peers and demonstrates proven track record of in-depth and hands-on software development.

Required Skills
* A minimum of five (5) years experience working with C# .NET development (in new projects or significant feature enhancements, and not just L3 break-fix/maintenance).
* A minimum of three (3) years experience working with ASP.Net in recent jobs.
* A minimum of three (4) years experience building Web Applications using CSS, HTML, ASP.Net and Visual Studio
* Experience with SQL Server 2014 or above
* Experience with Tableau or MicroStrategy
* Experience using REST Web Services and JSON a plus.
* SCRUM Agile environment experience a plus.
* Experience working in a highly regulated and change-controlled environment is a plus.
* Intermediate knowledge and skill set with database design, development and implementation a plus.
* Intermediate knowledge and skill set with Blazor web design, development and implementation a plus.
* Intermediate knowledge and skill set with unit test frameworks like Selenium or xUnit a plus.
Mandatory Skill Set and Qualifications:
* Must be self-motivated and have the ability to accomplish tasks in a timely manner with a minimum degree of supervision.
* Must have strong communication and problem solving skills.
