Infrastructure Engineer - Intermediate

BCforward is currently seeking highly motivated Infrastructure Engineer - Intermediate opportunity in Columbus, OH.

Position Title: Infrastructure Engineer - Intermediate
Location: Columbus, OH (Hybrid work Model)
Duration: 4+ Months
Pay Rate Range: $40/hr W2 - $45/hr W2

Job Description:
"The MFT team resources are responsible for migrating over 16,000 Business Partners within eighteen months, once our platform infrastructure dependency is delivered (Q1 2023). Our team supports approximately 98,000 overall Internal, Business Partner and External File Transfer Routes, and ensures LOB tests and implements firewall rules and the latest cipher configurations necessary to migrate into the NADC Sites. Resources required to support LOB Application Migrations to NADC, File Transfer Route Testing and Production Implementation to MFTS6.0 Platform, using the Customer Acceptance Testing and Production Environments.
Additionally, resources will support the CIB H2H iCTO Integration and Migration Effort for current clients migrating to the NADC MFT Environment, starting in 2022 and continuing in 2023. Resources are required throughout 2023, as the major on-boarding effort ramps-up Q2 onward."

Ability to consultatively articulate complex technical findings to more experienced management in clear, concise, understandable terms
Proficient knowledge and understanding in the following key areas: Hardware Architecture (performance testing, monitoring, operations) Hardware Benchmarking (Agile, program managements, network management)
Design (compliance, security) Network Engineering (planning, provision)
Proficient in more than one specific infrastructure technology
Executes against understanding of best practices and policies
