Position Title: Bilingual Call Center Representative

Location : Phoenix, AZ

Duration: 12 Months

Summary :

  • Candidate MUST be bilingual in English and Spanish. Speaking in Spanish is required but writing in Spanish is NOT REQUIRED.
  • The purpose of this position is to assist with the day-to-day operational activities of the Arizona Pregnancy Risk Assessment Monitoring System (PRAMS) by performing administrative tasks, mail merge, and conducting data entry and telephone interviews.
  • Most of the Bilingual Call Center Representative position will include conducting interviews with PRAMS participants in both English and Spanish. These interviews can last up to 45 minutes. After interviews are conducted, data must be accurate entered into the system timely and accurately. In order to successful in this position, management will be looking for candidates with good communication skills (English and Spanish), strong data entry skills, accountability and trustworthiness.
  • Please note, the CDC provides the bilingual interviewer a series of applications and forms to complete. The interviewer is to complete them partially in the presence of a notary. They send a photo copy of their driver's license with the forms to CDC as they will have full clearance and access to the database edits, additions, downloads, etc.

Minimum Education and/or Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED certificate and one (1) year of experience performing office/data entry duties. Fluency in English and Spanish required.

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Must be computer literate, able to type accurately, and deal with the public in an effective and professional manner.
  • Ability to exercise discretion in handling confidential information. Must have time customer service skills, management skills, organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize assignments.
  • Human Subjects training and PIDS (PRAMS Integrated Data System) training will be provided to the selected individual. Additional training might be required to comply with all grant requirements and guidance.

Specific duties include but are not limited to:

  • Using the PRAMS Integrated Data System (PIDS) to perform data entry, schedule mail and telephone follow-ups.
  • Preparing mailing materials in English and Spanish per PRAMS protocol and ensure 100% accuracy.
  • Entering confidential data in PIDS.
  • Conducting phone calls to PRAMS participants and administering the PRAMS survey in Spanish and English.
  • Maintaining the security and confidentiality of PRAMS data according to the PRAMS protocol.
  • Participating in CDC site visits, trainings, and workshops.
