BCforward is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Care Programs Operations Manager.

Location is Indianapolis

Contract: : 12 months with possibility of extension or permanent placement

Job Description:

Under minimal supervision, supports daily activities related to Care Programs as well as the development, enhancement, and maintenance of business solutions to meet customer needs. Performs research as needed to resolve Care Programs issues. Develops and tests reports, performs data analysis, and serves as liaison with the technical team to develop and implement system changes. Works closely with our Finance team to forecast anticipated payouts and recoupments and to validate and balance after the weekly Financial cycle is complete. Conducts quality review of claims, reports, business processes, and other items related to Care Programs operations.


Ø Familiarity with private health insurance, Medicaid, and claims.

Ø Prior health insurance or managed care experience preferred to include knowledge of HIPAA transactions, Claims, Waiver, Member and Provider Relations, Systems Life Cycle, and project management

Ø Strong understanding and knowledge of accounting and finance functions within an organization

Ø Strong written and oral communication skills. Ability to write client documentation and participate in client facing meetings.

Ø Strong presentation skills

Ø Advanced PC skills (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)

Ø Demonstrated analytical, research, and problem solving skills

Ø Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

Duties and Responsibilities:

Ø Ability to work with the client, business teams, technical teams, managed care plans, and other vendors at all levels to identify and develop both business and technical solutions and resolve issues

Ø Analyze ICES and CoreMMIS reports to resolve discrepancies/errors

Ø Ability to develop requirements, business designs, and business processes for required system changes

Ø Develop and/or coordinate creation of ad hoc reports to monitor, support, and analyze Care Programs processes including member eligibility, PMP enrollment/disenrollment, auto assignment, plan enrollment rosters, and capitation payments

Ø Participate in both internal and external committees and workgroups as requested by the Care Programs Operations Manager

Ø Ability to project a positive, professional attitude and a high degree of self-confidence in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment that is client facing

Ø Ability to effectively manage time and work independently in a strong team environment
