EDI Help Desk

BCforward is seeking a highly motivated and experienced EDI Help Desk.

Job Description:

Under general direction, provides support to the account on the EDI, Helpdesk and Infrastructure phone lines. Works with tier II support for resolution of complex issues. Interacts with network services, software systems engineering, and/or applications development to identify and issues that could impact the EDI area. Ensures HIPAA compliance is meet in all communications. Assists with documentation review and meetings as needed. Recommends changes to reduce user problems.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working in Windows 2000 or XP, Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Experience in EDI transactions
  • Previous experience in health care claim billing procedures preferred
  • Analytical skills with the ability to identify, research and resolve issues or recommend solutions
  • Strong oral communication skills
  • Proper grammar skills both written and oral
  • Excellent attendance record
  • Ability to learn quickly
  • Time management and multi-tasking skills
