Cloud Security EngineerBCforward is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Cloud Security Engineer at Remote Role: Cloud Security EngineerLocation : RemoteExpected Contract Duration :4+ months

Responsibilities:

This role will engineer security solutions and ensure secure by design standards are met by the application development teams deploying into Google. This position will directly contribute to the overall global enterprise cloud security engineering and steward the vision and strategy around cloud-based applications, across all types (including Infrastructure, Platform, and Software as a Service (IaaS/PaaS/SaaS).

Key Responsibilities:
* Work with application development and IT to develop/interpret baseline cloud security standards and integrate those into existing workflows and features (eg CI/CD pipeline).
* Understand Google Cloud Platform services, org structure and the corresponding security solutions native to GCP.
* Lead security engineering (SecEng) solution implementation at all layers including application, container, platform, data, network, and IAM in GCP.
* Work with the Sabre security architecture (SecArch) team, and other members of the Risk and Security (R&S) Team, help to create and deploy security instrumentation to strengthen Sabre's cloud security posture and commitment to shift left approach.
* Represent Risk and Security in development and implementation of the enterprise cloud architecture technology transformation program. Acts as the ambassador and senior technical representative for R&S while engaging with other senior technical leaders throughout the organization in design and implementation of cloud and hybrid-cloud implementations and solutions.
* Work with TE&O, Infrastructure Services, End-User Computing, and Application Development organizations to choose appropriate technology solutions and facilitates complete integration into the company environments. Develops standards in partnership with these areas and works with the R&S Governance, Compliance, and Risk team members to codify and publish these requirements.
* Engineer and implement security features based on established patterns at key layers including infrastructure, platform, application, container, cloud throughout a CI/CD pipeline (GCP, GKE, Prisma Cloud, Prisma Compute, Kubernetes, Open Shift, Ansible, Jenkins).
* Design and develop security engineering solutions for cloud and hybrid-cloud systems. Possess a firm understanding of the offerings from VMWare, GCP and Amazon Web Services (AWS).

Key Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
* Demonstrated relevant security expertise in designing security solutions for a variety of technology offerings, including:
* GCP, AWS, Azure and other Cloud Service Providers
* CI/CD - Deployment pipeline experience (Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform)
* Hands on programming and scripting experience (Python, Java etc)
* Physical and software defined networks
* Data security and governance practices
* Deep knowledge of Azure and AWS native security tools

Experience:
* 5 years of experience with Cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Amazon Web Services (AWS), Azure, VMware VCF
* 5 years of relevant experience in Security Engineering.
* Experience engineering security solutions within GCP.
* Experience with writing python scripts and applying security policies to terraform IaC files.
* Experience working with cloud security and governance tools, cloud access security brokers (CASBs), and server virtualization technologies.
* Experience with enterprise applications (engineering, development, support, and troubleshooting).
* Experience representing technical viewpoints to diverse audiences and in making timely and prudent technical risk decision recommendations.
* Ability to work independently with minimal direction; must be a self-starter and be self-motivated.
* Experience with deployment orchestration, automation, and security configuration management preferred.
* Experience with cloud security posture management tools such as Prisma Cloud or Dome 9 preferred.
* Two or more related certifications preferred - Google Certified Professional Cloud Engineer (Google), CISSP, CISM, CISA, SANS GIAC, CGEIT, CRISC, GSEC.

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology Management, or other technical discipline, or equivalent.
