Position Title : Desktop support Expected Duration : 12+ Months with possibility of extension or Permanent Location : Alpharetta GA
Job Description:
Will work in the Computer Café as a member of a 3 person Desktop support team
Work with walkup customers as well as appointments to resolve issues with the laptops/user accounts/corp desktop components.
Work with Site network printers, AV equipment, and peripherals. (headsets/monitors/ docking stations, etc)
Job Responsibilities
Customer Service skills - best case would be someone who has worked on a computer café or walkup service center
Knowledge of desktop components
Windows 10 operating system
O365, Outlook, skype, etc
Microsoft app (Word,Excel, PPT, etc)
Troubleshooting laptop and desktop hardware
Installing images on laptops
Network printers knowledge
Excellent oral and written communication skills with solid collaboration and negotiation skills
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Experience in supporting large or multiple production and plant environments from an IT systems perspective
Experience managing multiple on-site, off-site and vendor sourced service teams
Proven ability working directly with clients to identify and resolve technical incidents
Analyse and problem solve a variety of highly technical issues and ensure incidents are addressed and resolved in a timely fashion
Job Requirements:
Provide technical and operational leadership, management and oversight of site support infrastructure for the global business
Analyse and problem solve a variety of highly technical issues and ensure incidents are addressed and resolved in a timely fashion
Provide operational direction and management of multiple on-site and off-site ITS resources and vendor service providers
Interface with ITS architecture and application teams to understand current and future needs for site support solutions and develop/translate infrastructure requirements
Manage the initial and on-going provisioning of laptops; setup, configuration, imaging, computer repair, local server maintenance
Ensure day-to-day operational support for infrastructure technologies that include supplier management activities, business continuity, and overall service delivery support for change, incident, and problem management activities
