Project Cost ControllerBCforward is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Cost Controller at Trenton NJ Title: Project Cost ControllerExpected contract duration: 12+ months with possibility of extension or PermanentLocation: Trenton NJ Job Description:

• Work closely with the Project Manager and project team to develop, maintain and manage project estimates, budget, actuals, accruals, planned cash flow and overall forecast throughout the life of the project
• Perform frequent analytical reviews and checks of actuals and remaining cash flow related original forecast and baselined forecast as well as last month's forecast to current forecast, trends, risks and other potential project cost factors
• Work closely with the Scheduler to analyze cost loaded schedule at minimum once a week
• Provide cost reports to Project Manager reflecting actuals, accruals, remaining cash flow spend as a current forecast, variance to original and current baseline budget with explanations of variances, variance of this month's forecast to last month's forecast with explanations of variances, any anomalies or insights from analysis
• Provide any additional ad hoc reports required to support Project Managers governance and stakeholder communications
• Analyze and report on project contingency and potential contingency needs or give backs
• Provide insight to Project Manager on any change impact that may require change request
• Update tools with the latest forecast data

Required Experience:

• 2-5 years of experience of Project Controls required
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Management, Business Administration or another related field required
• Experience in Business Planning and Budgeting required
• 2-5 years of experience with Financial Analysis and Managerial Accounting with SAP (FICO, Project Systems, Materials Management, Work Management, DWMS) preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required
• Experience in ServiceNow preferred
