Position Title: Senior SAP Security Consultant

Location: Remote

Anticipated Start Date: 07/28

Expected Duration: 6 - 8 Month Project but would like to hire if possible after 3 months

Pay Range: $45/hr. to $50/hr.

Job Summary:

* We are seeking a highly experienced SAP Security Consultant to join our team.
* The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in SAP security architecture, role design, user administration, and compliance, with a strong understanding of GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance).
* This role involves working closely with business and technical teams to ensure secure and compliant SAP environments across multiple modules and landscapes.

Key Responsibilities:

* Design, implement, and maintain SAP security roles and authorizations across SAP systems (ECC, S/4HANA, BW, Fiori, etc.)

* Conduct security audits and risk assessments to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations (e.g., SOX, GDPR)

* Manage user provisioning, role assignments, and segregation of duties (SoD) analysis

* Configure and support SAP GRC Access Control (ARM, ARA, BRM, EAM)

* Collaborate with functional and technical teams to define security requirements for new projects and enhancements

* Troubleshoot and resolve security-related issues and incidents

* Develop and maintain documentation for security processes, policies, and procedures

* Provide training and guidance to junior security team members and end-users

Required Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field

* 8+ years of hands-on SAP Security experience

* Strong knowledge of SAP authorization concepts and role design

* Experience with SAP GRC Access Control modules

* Familiarity with SAP Fiori and HANA security models

* Understanding of compliance frameworks (SOX, GDPR, etc.)

* Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

* SAP Security or GRC certification

* Experience with cloud-based SAP solutions (SAP BTP, SuccessFactors, Ariba)

* Knowledge of Identity and Access Management (IAM) tools and integrations
