- Perform mechanical and electro-mechanical assembly using measurement equipment, specialized fixtures, tooling, gauging, and torque tools to meet build requirements.
- Interpret drawings, work instructions, and parts lists and produce clear written documentation of results and conditions.
- Set up and execute operational tests on high precision test stands using hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic test equipment, fixtures, and tools.
- Diagnose test failures, assess hardware condition, and recommend rework actions and configuration changes.
- Complete daily administrative tasks in support of production operations.
- High School diploma or GED preferred. Otherwise, demonstrated ability to understand and apply verbal, written, and computer-based work instructions in English, and perform basic math.
- At least 3 years of experience in a related technical field involving assembly and testing.
- Proficiency with precision measurement tools, torque tools, gauges, fixtures, and test stands.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and follow detailed work instructions and parts lists.
- Enrollment and participation in the company's F.A.A. Drug & Alcohol Program per Safety Sensitive Work requirements.
- Experience in aerospace or commercial aircraft component assembly and testing.
- Familiarity with hydraulic and pneumatic systems and related diagnostics.
- 2nd shift schedule: 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM, onsite.
- Base pay: $31.00/hour. 10% shift differential applies from day one for 2nd shift.
- Training may occur on 1st shift (6:00 AM - 2:30 PM) or 3rd shift (10:30 PM - 6:00 AM) based on business need, followed by assignment to 2nd shift.
- Temp-to-hire. Contractors are eligible for conversion after 6 months.
