BCForward is currently Administrative Asst/Exec. Asst I - (Remote)
Position Title: Administrative Asst/Exec. Asst I
Location: Remote (Only PST time zone candidates )
Duration: 06 Months contract with contract to hire
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM PST
Pay Rate: $21.00/hr on W2.
Summary:
The primary function of the Administrative Assistant is to provide high-level administrative support to internal teams by conducting research, managing communications, and performing a range of clerical and organizational tasks. This role serves as an information and communication manager for the assigned office or team, ensuring seamless workflow and accurate record-keeping.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general office duties such as ordering supplies, maintaining records management systems, and conducting basic bookkeeping.
- Prepare and format documents including invoices, reports, memos, letters, and financial statements.
- File and retrieve corporate documents, records, and reports as needed.
- Open, sort, and distribute incoming correspondence, including faxes and emails.
- Draft responses to routine inquiries and correspondence.
- Update provider information, including address changes and credentialing system entries.
- Assist with researching and resolving client billing issues.
- Support internal teams with administrative needs and documentation.

- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Experience with healthcare or billing systems is a plus
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or GED required
- 0-2 years of relevant administrative or office support experience
