- Make outbound and inbound calls to schedule doctor appointments, complete Health Needs Screenings, and support member payments for enhanced benefits.
- Educate members on plan benefits, enhanced services, and preferred provider options.
- Influence and motivate members to complete preventive services and utilize available benefits.
- Provide education on the appropriate use of Emergency Departments and its impact on healthcare costs and benefits.
- Identify and overcome member barriers (transportation, scheduling, understanding of benefits, etc.) to increase adherence to screenings and services.
- Review each member profile prior to outreach to identify opportunities for additional benefits and improved care outcomes.
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives to meet department goals.
- Review and analyze call data, adjusting outreach approach as needed to maximize engagement.
- Maintain accurate documentation in member records and follow all state/regulatory guidelines.
- Serve as a secondary support resource for Member Services or Provider Services teams.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- 3+ years of experience in sales within a call center or high-pressure environment OR
- 3+ years of experience in member services, provider services, customer service, or call center operations.
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare, business administration, or related field AND 1+ year experience in a high-pressure call center/sales environment.
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) strongly preferred.
