Job Description

• We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Migration Developer to design, develop, and implement data migration solutions.
• The ideal candidate will have advanced expertise in SQL, various databases (SQL Server and PostgreSQL), AWS Glue, and PySpark.
• This role requires strong technical proficiency, problem-solving abilities, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure successful data migration.

• Data Migration Development: Design, develop, and implement data migration solutions using AWS Glue, Python, and PySpark.
• ETL Processes: Develop and maintain ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to migrate data between systems.
• Data Mapping and Transformation: Perform detailed data mapping and transformation activities to ensure accurate and efficient data migration.
• Data Validation: Implement data validation and quality assurance processes to maintain data integrity and accuracy throughout the migration process.
• Performance Optimization: Optimize data migration processes for performance, scalability, and efficiency.
• Collaboration: Work closely with data architects, data analysts, business analysts, and other stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and address any issues that arise during the migration process.
• Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for data migration processes, including design specifications, mapping documents, and operational procedures.
• Troubleshooting and Support: Provide troubleshooting and support for data migration issues, ensuring prompt resolution and minimal disruption.
