BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated TMS Business Analyst

for an opportunity at Eagan,MN Location!

Position Title: TMS Business Analyst

Location: Eagan, MN

Anticipated Start Date: 12/02/2024

Expected Duration: 6+ Months

Job Type: Full Time (>%3D40 HRS WEEKLY) - CONTRACT - Remote

Pay Range: $65/hr - $75/hr

Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.).

Key responsibilities:
TMS Implementation: Manage the full lifecycle of a truck Transportation Management System (TMS) implementation, including requirements gathering, configuration, testing, and deployment.

  • Private Fleet Dispatch: Lead the transition of private fleet truck planning processes to a modern dispatch solution.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, software vendors, SAP, Snowflake, and ServiceNow teams, to deliver a seamless implementation.
  • Documentation: Author functional specification documents and maintain clear records of requirements, configurations, and testing procedures.
  • Configuration: Hands-on configuration of TMS solutions (e.g., McLeod, TMW, Mastery, Descartes, Blue Yonder) to meet business requirements.
  • Testing & Delivery: Drive solution delivery through a rigorous build and testing framework, ensuring all deliverables meet high standards of quality and functionality.
  • Vendor Management: Manage relationships and coordinate with external vendors to align project deliverables and timelines.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify and address implementation challenges and provide recommendations for system optimization.


Qualifications

Must-Haves:

  • Minimum of 1 full lifecycle implementation of a truck Transportation Management System.
  • 5+ years of hands-on TMS administration/configuration experience (e.g., McLeod, TMW, Mastery, Descartes, Blue Yonder).
  • Proven ability to work on enterprise-wide implementations with private fleet truck solutions.
  • Strong vendor management experience.
  • Resume reflects project/company longevity of 12 months or more in the past 3 years.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts clearly to diverse stakeholders.
  • Highly organized thinker and independent self-starter.
Nice-to-Haves:

  • Experience with Bulk Truck Transportation (agriculture or energy sectors).
  • Familiarity with SAP, PI/PO, Snowflake, ServiceNow, or Single Sign-On (SSO) solutions.
