Position Title: Java Full Stack Engineer

Anticipated Start Date: February

Expected Duration: 5+ months (with possibility of extension or conversion)

Job Type: Contract, 40 HRS WEEKLY, Onsite

Pay Range: $50/hr. - $55.14/hr.

Job Description:

Primary job duties/responsibilities:

Requirements: -

• As a Full Stack Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and/or engineering the end-to-end features of a system, from user experience to backend code.
• You will use your development skills to deliver innovative solutions that help our clients improve the services they provide.
• You are expected to be a subject matter expert, collaborate and manage the team to perform effectively.
• You will be responsible for team decisions, engage with multiple teams, and contribute to key decisions.
• Additionally, you will provide solutions to problems for your immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Advanced proficiency in Java Full Stack Development is required.
• Advanced proficiency in Application Design, Application Lifecycle Management, Release Management, and Software Quality Assurance is suggested.
• Design and implement scalable and efficient software solutions that meet client needs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge with team members.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications to ensure optimal performance and user experience.

• The required education for this position is a bachelor's degree in computer science.
• The work location is Houston, TX 77002.
• This role will work on-site at the client office.
• The resource must be local.
• The client will not cover travel or expenses.
• No industry experience is required for this role.
• Nice-to-have skills include Architecture and Design.
• Chances for extension are uncertain.
