Full Stack Developer - Intermediate

BCforward is currently seeking highly motivated Full Stack Developer in Plano, TX.

Position Title: Full Stack Developer
Location: Plano, TX
(Hybrid work model - 2 days' work from Office/3 days' work from home)
Duration: 4 Months Contract to Fulltime
Pay Range: $60.62 - $62.71

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Executes software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems
• Gathers, analyzes, synthesizes, and develops visualizations and reporting from large, diverse data sets in service of continuous improvement of software applications and systems
• Proactively identifies hidden problems and patterns in data and uses these insights to drive improvements to coding hygiene and system architecture
• Contributes to software engineering communities of practice and events that explore new and emerging technologies
• Participate in design and develop scalable and resilient systems in a timely manner using Java to contribute to continual, iterative improvements for product teams
• Design, write, comment and unit test code to confirm software modules are of the highest quality
• Build Microservices that will run on the banks internal cloud and the public cloud platform
• Participate in scrum team stand-ups, code reviews and other ceremonies, contribute to task completion and blocker resolution within your team
• Handle critical and time sensitive concurrent tasks with supervision and properly escalate situations as appropriate
• Write test cases, leverage unit and integration testing, develop functionality and automation
• Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities, to improve delivery flow across product and technology

Must have

• 5-7 plus years of hands on experience
• 80/20 front and backend
• Java 8 and 11
• Spring boot and REST API
• React only
• AWS (min of 1 year of hands on experience)

Nice to have

• Developer or Solutions Architect Level AWS Certification
• Experience with any of these Observability tools: Splunk, DataDog, Dynatrace, or Grafana
• Experience with distributed databases like AWS RDS databases
