Senior Project Manager (Fleet Transportation)BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Senior Project Manager (Fleet Transportation) for an opportunity at Eagan, MN Location!Position Title: Senior Project Manager (Fleet Transportation) Location: Eagan, MNAnticipated Start Date: 10/6/2025Please note this is the target date and it is subject to change. BCforward will send official notice ahead of a confirmed start date.Expected Duration: 6+ monthsJob Type: Full Time (>%3D40 HRS WEEKLY) - CONTRACT - HybridPay Range: $85/hr to $90/hr Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.).Key responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business leaders to develop project plans: understanding key initiative milestones, interdependence across various initiatives and the related enterprise or external communications required
- Maintain organizational standards of satisfaction, quality, and performance
- Work closely with project sponsors, cross-functional teams, and other assigned project managers to develop the scope, deliverables, required resources, work plan, budget, and timing for initiatives
- Manage project teams, ensuring program goals are reached
- Accountable for delivering against established business goals/objectives
- Work with other program/project managers to identify interdependencies, dependencies, risks, and opportunities across projects
- Analyze, evaluate, and overcome program risks, and produce status reports for managers and stakeholders
- A minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience supporting and managing large-scale projects and programs
- A bachelor's or master's degree in business or a related field
- Project Management Certification in PMI or other methodologies, Change Management certification in Prosci or other, and Lean Six Sigma certification and/or experience are highly desirable
- Advanced knowledge in using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Other important skills include public speaking, facilitation, problem-solving and analytical skills, multi-tasking, organization, leadership, and time management
