Position Title: Operations Junior Analyst

Location: Austin, TX 78727- Remote

Anticipated Start Date: March 2025

Expected Duration: 10+ months Contract to Hire (with possibility of extension or conversion)

Job Type: Contract, 40 HRS WEEKLY, Onsite

Pay Range: $18/hr - $19/hr

Job Description:

The Business Analyst offers functional and in-depth analysis in support of project scope and objectives. Utilizing problem solving and analytical skills they support current processes and assist in the creation of process improvements. Provides aid to their work and the work of others by using a keen eye for details to help avoid costly or disruptive errors. Comfortable with leading projects from start to finish. Demonstrates an ownership mentality with objectives, overcoming challenges, and becoming a subject matter expert.

Representative Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform analysis, planning, development, testing and deployment of assigned projects that are owned by analyst or other departments.
• Review and analyze setup of claims processing engine with an eye towards troubleshooting and improving functionality.
• Researches identified issues and reports to management with complete problem definition, evaluation, and potential solution(s).
• Operates independently and react rapidly in a complex organizational environment with daily customer interchange.
• Can stay flexible while handling a variety of assignments in various stages at the same time.
• Participate in internal or external workgroups.

Qualifications:

* 1 year of data analysis experience

* 1 year of experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Preferred Skills

* Prior health insurance, Medicaid and/or claims processing, including ICD-9, ICD-10, CPT and HCPCS

* 1 year leading projects in a team and independently

* 1 year of data analysis experience

Professional Skills

* Excellent oral and written communications

* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
