Program Manager IBCForward is currently seeking a highly motivated Program Manager I, Bay Area, Remote in the United States. Position Title: Program Manager I
Location: Bay Area, Remote
Anticipated Start Date: ASAPPlease note this is the target date and is subject to change. BCForward will send official notice ahead of a confirmed start date. Expected Duration: 12 Months Job Type: [>%3D40 weeks] [Contract] [Remote] Pay Range: $65 - $75/hr. on W2.Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.). Position Title: Program Manager I (DEI Program Manager)Duration: 12 monthsLocation: Bay Area - Remote Candidate Value Proposition:The individual will be joining the DEI Strategy and Planning team to build solutions by translating research and data into the strategy. There are weekly team meetings and syncs. The direct team is small, but the ideal candidate will be working with the broader DEI team as well. This is a great opportunity to work on impactful, Meta-wide projects that will reach thousands of employees. The individual will have the ability to be creative and bring their skills to the role. The ideal candidate will join an experienced and collaborative team full of experts in DEI and facilitation and work with great talent! Role Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):
- Manage multiple projects, ensuring timely completion and meeting project objectives
- Develop and implement effective communication strategies to engage employees and stakeholders
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and coordination of projects and communications
- Create and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets
- Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and mitigating risks and issues
- Coordinate and facilitate meetings, workshops, and other events as needed
- Develop and distribute project updates, reports, and other materials to stakeholders
- Performance is measured based on project management tasks assigned, the ability to draft or create the first draft of project plans and templates, outline of materials, ability to take information and feedback from the team and incorporate this in a project plan, drafting communications, etc.
Must-Have Skills:
- 3+ years of experience (not necessarily in DEI but experience with learning and training areas / space)
- Program management skills - experience coordinating projects and ensuring alignment of multiple team members
- Experience developing Project management: Creating trackers and timelines, managing stakeholders, providing status updates, managing deadlines and deliverables
- Communications: Developing templates and formatting, turning content into digestible information for stakeholders
- Stakeholder management: Coordinating reviews and incorporating feedback
- Strong knowledge of computer software, including Google Suite
- Former Meta experience
- Worked in similar companies (prioritizing HR and diversity learning over sector)
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field
- Experience in DEI, HR, or Learning preferred
