BCforward is currently seeking as a Marketing Associate II Remote opportunity!!

Position Title: Marketing Associate II

Location: Remote

Expected Duration: 03+ Months with possibility of extension.

Job Type: Contract (>%3D40 HRS WEEKLY)

Pay Range: $35 - $42/HR

Job Title: Marketing Associate II

Duration: 3+ months

Location: 100% Remote.

Job Description:

  • You will work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders in the US and internationally to develop and deliver comprehensive marketing packages that are specifically tailored to meet the needs of government, political, and nonprofit audiences. In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product, policy, legal, and sales, to ensure alignment and best in class execution.
  • The ideal candidate is highly collaborative, exhibits a high degree of curiosity, is proactive, and is capable of operating effectively in a fast-paced and often ambiguous environment. A strong background in marketing is required, with a proven ability to lead strategic initiatives and drive measurable impact. Experience in policy, integrity, government, or elections is desirable but not required.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute marketing materials (i.e. external deck, 1-pagers, blog posts) to drive awareness and education of digital marketing for global government and political organizations.
  • Partner and collaborate across cross-functional partners to bring marketing plans to life through effective content to drive high-priority global marketing programs and solutions.
  • Learn and assimilate brand standards and messaging specific to Government and Nonprofit communications.
  • Manage agencies and vendor teams to create and execute content.
  • Work with regional teams to coordinate localization of content built for multiple countries, audiences and languages.
  • Socialize and communicate plans across the organization and to cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Report on results and learnings for collateral.

Skills and experience:

  • 5 years of relevant work experience in digital and/or product marketing
  • Global marketing experience focused on producing marketing collateral for large-scale internal and external audiences
  • Experience in, or passion for the policy, integrity, government or political space
  • Vendor & agency management - client and/or agency side, working with creative or production teams
  • Proven cross-functional collaborator with stakeholder management skills
  • Creative thinker with proven ability to innovate, mitigate risk and be resourceful in turning plans and concepts into reality
  • Strong written communication skills with the ability to translate complex concepts into simple, easy-to-understand language
  • Experience with content and/or knowledge management systems

Typical Day-to-Day in the role:

  • Regular sync on tasks for the week
  • Hands on work on marketing material
  • Working cross functionally to ensure high quality of content

Must-Have Skills:

  • Experience with deck creation and marketing material
  • Strong XFN collaboration
  • Experience working on teams/projects with global reach

Nice-to-have Skills:

  • Experience with content or knowledge management systems
  • Someone passionate about global culture
