Project Coordinator IIBC forward is currently seeking an initiative to take Project Coordinator II for Remote Location. Position Title: Project Coordinator IILocation: Remote Anticipated Start Date: ASAP Please note this is the target date and is subject to change. BC forward will send official notice ahead of a confirmed start date.Expected Duration: 06+ Months Contract (Possibility of getting extension)Job Type: ContractPay Range: $45 to Max $50/HR W2Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.). SummaryClient's Localization Testing team is looking for a Project Coordinator who collaborates well cross-functionally, is extremely detail oriented, and can lead a project from planning to execution. Familiarity with localization, QA, software development, bug triage, and/or project management is preferred. Responsibilities
- Plan and manage localization schedules from translation to QA to launch. Communicate timelines and test results across our main partners--Localization Program Managers, Language Managers, Engineers, QA, Vendors, and Content Designers.
- Effectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders, across multiple business units, by setting clear expectations for stakeholders and localizers. Communicate instructions in a clear and timely manner.
- Ability to execute and create basic test plans for our linguists.
- Analyze current pain points in workflows and tools, provide suggestions for improvements and pilot implementation of new processes.
- Make independent decisions and work well under pressure in the face of ambiguity and aggressive deadlines.
- Ability to prioritize, triage, and escalate i18n bugs. Comfortable working with product teams to ensure fixes are done before launch.
- Experience working in Localization, QA, and Project Management
- Track record of getting products launched in a large set of locales
- Experience in task prioritization, ability to identify problems and work towards solutions
- Solid understanding of common challenges with developing products for international markets
- Familiarity with product and software development process
- Experience with localization platforms, file formats and CAT tools or any similar in-house localization tools and platforms that manage and/or automate the translation workflow
- Relevant experience in software localization, localization program management or management of localization technology solutions
- Experience in hardware, augmented reality, virtual reality, advertising, or payments testing
- Localization, QA, and Project Management
- Project manager - end to end
- Large scale product launching
- Product and software development life cycle
