Job Description:Our client, a leading pharmaceutical company, is hiring a Scientific Research Associate, on a contract basis. Summary:This position will be part of the Translational Development Team in Cambridge MA. The team deploys the high dimensional profiling tools such as spatial protein/RNA characterization to fill translational knowledge gaps relevant to our development pipelines. This role will support our team to answer key translational questions for our programs. Education/Experience:

Job Description:Our client, a leading pharmaceutical company, is hiring a Scientific Research Associate, on a contract basis. Summary:This position will be part of the Translational Development Team in Cambridge MA. The team deploys the high dimensional profiling tools such as spatial protein/RNA characterization to fill translational knowledge gaps relevant to our development pipelines. This role will support our team to answer key translational questions for our programs. Education/Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in biological sciences, engineering, chemistry, physics, math, computer sciences, or related fields.
- 3 years of hands-on experience in a laboratory.
- Prior experience with spatial technologies or pathology/histology/IHC is preferred but not required.
- Quick learner/opening to learning
- Ideal candidates will be quick learners and comfortable with new technologies and have excellent hands-on and organizational skills, with attention to detail and quality.
- Skills for effective and timely communication with colleagues.
- Key responsibilities include operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of latest generation Phenocycler Fusion and Visium; preparation of samples and reagents; and assistance in assay development and optimization.
- Operate and maintain the instruments.
- Prepare and manage reagents. Perform reagent validation. Prepare slides for analysis.
- Maintain an accurate record of samples, reagents. Maintain and organize the inventory.
- Perform routine data transferring.
- Assist in the development of new reagents.
