BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated SR IT Analyst/Programmer for an opportunity in Minneapolis, MN!

Position Title: SR IT Analyst/Programmer

Location: Minneapolis, MN

Anticipated Start Date: 6/30/2025.

Expected Duration: 4+ Months

Job Type: Contract, Remote

Salary Range: $45/hr - $55/hr.

Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.).

Job Description: Responsible for the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of custom system software, and/or the installation and maintenance of purchased systems software, as well as the configuration and support of hardware systems across Client. In conjunction with more senior technical staff, develops proposals that consider alternatives and business case, and gains needed institutional approvals.

Job Responsibilities:

• Evaluates alternative approaches and presents recommendations to teams and unit leadership.

• Regularly reviews applications and makes modifications and/or updates to ensure currency and functionality within established environment.

• Maintains and supports multiple systems or complex software applications and their associated hardware at multiple Client sites.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Experience working in healthcare technology.

• Exposure to managing both custom developed and vendor-supplied applications.

• Applies effective system design principles and software development methodologies.

• Demonstrated ability to multi-task among multiple complex assigned tasks/projects.

• Evidence of strong communication, meeting management, and organizational skills and ability to adjust the message as appropriate to the audiences of varying technical capabilities.

• Evidence of project management skills.

• Possesses an objective and positive attitude with all tasks and projects.

• Possesses a high level of project and deliverable consistency through demonstrated repeatable and reliable performance.

• Evidence of ability to take initiative and proactive on starting tasks and assignments and ability to work independently.

Scope:

• Remediation of customized ServiceNow Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, etc. as identified in Health Assessments.

• Examples could include correcting scripts with the following issues:

• Client Scripts should check for isLoading and return

• Client-side code should not use GlideRecord

• Scripts should not contain hard-coded IDs

• Scripts should not use the eval() method

• Client-side code should not contain the console.log() debugging method

• Don't use a variable called gr in scripts

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a ServiceNow Developer

• Experienced in development using javascript

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Strong communication and collaboration skills

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively

• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.

Education:

-Bachelor's degree and three (3) years' experience, including one (1) year demonstrated technical experience.

OR

-Associate's degree and seven (7) years' experience, including one (1) year demonstrated technical experience.

Preferred Education: Master's degree in applicable field.
