BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated IT Business Analyst for a Hybrid Position in Minneapolis.

Job Type: Contract

Pay Range: $28-$32/hr.

[JOB DESCRIPTION]

The IT Business Analyst serves as a critical liaison at the project level between internal customers, IT development teams, and end customers. This role is pivotal in gathering, analyzing, communicating, and validating requirements for application enhancements across both internally developed and purchased software systems. The Business Analyst ensures that requirements are fully defined according to the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and project management processes, with a strong emphasis on ITIL-based service and knowledge management practices.

This position supports a dynamic IT environment, requiring strategic thinking, problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage stakeholder relationships effectively. Candidates should be prepared to actively contribute to Agile Scrum product operating models within healthcare application development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as a liaison between stakeholders, ensuring clear communication of requirements and project objectives.
• Gather, analyze, document, and validate requirements using various methods, including user interviews, system analysis, surveys, use cases, and workflow analysis.

Required Qualifications:

• Education:
• High School Diploma/GED with 4 years of Business Analyst training/certification and experience.
• OR Associate's degree with 2 years of Business Analyst experience.
• OR Bachelor's degree.
• Skills & Competencies:
• Strategic thinking with the ability to align business and technology strategies and identify gaps.
• Business process analysis expertise, including process modeling and redesign.
• Technologies:
• .NET Core, C++ programming, Angular.
• Google Cloud Platform (GCP) hosting.
• Application Development Models:
• Agile Scrum methodology and product operating model experience.
• Proficiency with Tools:
• Microsoft Office Suite.
• ITIL-based Service Management tools.
