Job Description:
Finance Manager - HC & OPEX/COGS Support for Engineering
We are seeking a finance professional to manage headcount (HC) for Operating Expenses (OPEX) and Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) in support of our Engineering teams. This role will drive financial analysis & insights, provide recommendations, and support resource allocation while ensuring alignment with our financial Rhythm of Business (ROB), including close, forecast, and planning cycles
Key Responsibilities:
* Headcount Management: Partner with across organization to analyze and optimize HC investments across OPEX and COGS.
* Financial Analysis & Insights: Conduct deep-dive analysis to drive efficiency, cost optimization, and strategic decision-making.
* Forecasting & Planning: Support financial ROB processes by executing HC forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis with accurate forecasting.
* Reporting & Clarity: Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to provide transparency on HC trends and spending.
* Cross-Company Partnership: Collaborate with HR, Recruiting, and Finance stakeholders to ensure alignment on hiring plans and financial targets.
* Operational Excellence: Continuously improve financial processes and tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
* Ad hoc: Support various reporting and analysis requests as needed.
* This role requires strong analytical skills, business acumen, and the ability to drive clarity in a fast-paced environment.
Candidate Requirements:
* Years of Experience Required: 10 overall years of experience in the field.
* Degrees or certifications required: no degree required.
* Best vs. Average: The ideal resume would contain strong communication skills, Excel experience, finance knowledge, and BPC experience.
* Performance Indicators: Performance will be assessed based on meeting deadlines, feedback from stakeholders.

1. STRONG TECHNICAL SKILLS: BPC and Excel |10+ years of experience
