BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated SDET - Automation Engineer for an opportunity in Charlotte, NC

Position Title: SDET - Automation Engineer

Location: Charlotte, NC

Anticipated Start Date: ASAP

Please note this is the target date and it is subject to change. BCforward will send official notice ahead of a confirmed start date.

Expected Duration: 12 Months.

Job Type: CONTRACT, (Hybrid)

Monday- Friday (5x8)

Candidate who is authorized to work independently

Pay Range: $50 - $55/hr.

Job Description:
Looking for experienced mobile SDET -Automation Engineer with strong leadership, insights on Mobile Arctecture software development skills and experience in developing and enhancing mobile test automation frameworks. He or she will be leading and designing/developing automated, solutions including unit testing, functional testing, UI testing and performance testing that help guarantee the software quality across a wide range of mobile devices and tablets. Typically requires minimum of 5-7 years of experience. Must have a bachelor's degree or equivalent degree is required

PRIMARY SKILL - Automation Testing

REQUIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar technical field
* Develop and document test UI automation and application framework enhancements in Java + Appium
* Java and Shell Scrpiting is MUST
*Mobile Test Automation with Appium is a MUST
*Selenium Test NG
*Innovative approach to uncover issues during the development phase
*Implement new testing frameworks for future products and features
* Participate in code review of standards, procedures, tools, and quality improvement processes
* Maintain automated regression suites/packages to be compliant with changing requirements and features
* Work closely with Product and Engineering teams
* 3+ years of experience as a Software Development Engineer in Testing
* Must have experience in one of the mobile automation tools and frameworks (Appium, Espresso, XCUITest)
* Hands-on experience in designing and building automation frameworks from scratch or using open-source tools
* Experience working with various source code and CI/CD management tools e.g. Jenkins, Perforce, Git, Bitbucket
* Ability to work with limited to no guidance in a team environment

DESIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE
- Experience with continuous integration & Unit tests.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-based environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong focus on troubleshooting and issue resolution.
