Operations Specialist
Position Title: Operations Specialist
Location: Dallas, TX
Anticipated Start Date: ASAP

Expected Duration: 6 months
Job Type: FULL TIME, CONTRACT, HYBRID - 3 days onsite, 2 WFH
Pay Range: $22.28/hr
Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due the factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.).
Working shift: Monday - Friday 8a-5p CST
Requirements:
- Key responsibilities include reconciliation, settlement, and trade and transfer support, and providing quality service and operations support
- Exposure to DTC and Bank of New York Mellon is preferred
- Previous Securities Industry experience is preferred
Job Description:
- Transaction Management Ops Analyst
- The Securities Settlement and Custody Operations group plays a significant role within Wealth Management Operations (WMO).
- The organization is responsible for Clearing & Settlement for various Pierce and Private Bank distribution channels, servicing Private Bank Securities on PACE, Fund Relationship and Onboarding Mutual Fund & Alternative Investments.
- The Fund Administration, Reporting and Operations Team supports various tasks related to servicing assets for Private Bank and accounts.
- The processes include but are not limited to set up, maintenance, valuations, transaction processing, financial statements, proxies, and other fund administration tasks.
- The Transaction Management Ops Analyst is responsible for moderately complex transaction and fulfillment processing, including the movement of assets into and out of accounts.
- Key responsibilities include reconciliation, settlement, and trade and transfer support, and providing quality service and operations support for internal business partners and external clients, in accordance with established guidelines and procedures.
- Job expectations include handling in operational processes which may carry medium to high levels of monetary risk and assisting in training less experienced team members.
- For this role, the key responsibilities include:
- Process investment transactions to trust accounting system for Private Bank clients
- Providing operational support and transaction processing for various product types and functions Performing moderately complex transaction processing and reconciliation with medium to large monetary impact according to the established guidelines and procedures
- Data entry, settlement, balancing, reconciliation, and reporting for various types of transaction to meet critical deadlines
- Analysis and resolution of moderately complex transactions requiring escalations and/or exceptions, and works with appropriate Financial Advisors, Investment Managers, and Internal and External Business partners to provide problem resolutions for function related items
- Responding to complex client inquiries through numerous channels to support operational efficiency and quality client service Proactively identifying risk and opportunities for process improvement based on an understanding the work impacts other operational units. Generating reports and data metric collection, procedure maintenance, as well as project or testing support -
Required Skills:
- Must be well versed in Excel -- pivot tables, running queries, working with large amounts of data, etc.
- Data Analysis and Interpretation
- Demonstrate logical, systematic approach to problem solving
- Intermediate skill level needed for Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, and Word)
- Understanding of investment products and solutions
- Forward thinker able to express new, fresh ideas to create better operational processes
- Excellent Writing and Editing Skills
- Risk Management
- Knowledge of Mathematics and Statistics -
Desired Skills:
- Exposure to DTC and Bank of New York Mellon is preferred
