BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated LTC RN (LTC Clinician) for an opportunity in Austin TX (Local Remote)

Position Title: LTC RN (LTC Clinician)

Location: Austin TX (Local Remote)

Anticipated Start Date: April 14, 2025

Expected Duration: 6+ months contract (Possible Extension)

Job Type: Contract, 40 HRS WEEKLY, Remote - Local to Austin

Pay Range: $39 - $39.38/hr.

Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.).

Note: Must work shift 10am -7pm

The duties for the Long-Term Care RN are as follows:

• Conducts medical necessity reviews for Long Term Care form submissions.
• Review and analyze medical necessity documentation and assessments according to established criteria and protocols
• Produce decisions as required based on knowledge of Medicaid requirements and training as a Registered Nurse
• Maintain appropriate documentation and support for all requests
• Participating in Fair Hearings as assigned
• Review complaints and appeals by providers investigate and evaluate facts and advise disposition
• Manage incoming phone calls from the provider and customer communities
• Cross train to other areas and assist as required.
