Position Title: Data quality/Meta data Engineer

Location: Jersey City, NJ 07302

Anticipated Start Date: ASAP

Job Type: CONTRACT, Hybrid

Pay Range: $60 to $68.26/hr

Description:

Metadata/Data Quality/Data Management
Required Skills:
1. Obtaining and analyzing Business and Technical Metadata and Data Lineage
2. Documenting and analyzing coverage / effectiveness of Data Quality Controls against Data Risks
3. Delivery of high quality error free program and project related deliverables on time
4. Financial Services experience in similar size Financial Institution

Desired Skills:
1. Overall Data Management / Data Governance according to BCBS239 Principles
2. Metadata tool end user experience such as Collibra

Characteristics of a top performer: Act as owner, Delivery / results oriented, Manage risk, Proactive, work independently and with a team, working through obstacles independently, persistent

Education Requirements: BA / BS in Data or Information Systems field

Position Summary:
Work on collecting, documenting and analyzing Business and Technical Metadata and Data Lineage.
Documenting and analyzing coverage / effectiveness of Data Quality Controls against Data Risks.
Coordinating Reviews and Approvals with internal team, manager as well as SMEs and Senior Executives. Reporting Status.
Managing delivery of program / project artifacts, risks and issues in Regulatory environment.

Team Structure: Report to hiring manager and take direction from team leads
~10 and working with other teams in both business and technology

Selling Point'/Project Work: Regulatory and policy remediation
Participate in designing and documenting the BAU sustainability processes and procedures
