Job Description

We are seeking a Test Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in electronics testing, troubleshooting, and test system support and a proven ability to diagnose root cause issues, support production test operations, and collaborate with engineers to build and improve test equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor functioning lab tests, perform basic corrective actions, and escalate to appropriate contacts when required.
• Provide intermediate line support to the production floor for electronic test operations.
• Troubleshoot test issues using meters, oscilloscopes, and schematics to identify root causes.
• Work with test engineers to build, modify, and debug test systems and related equipment.
• Maintain lab equipment and perform basic mechanical tasks as needed.
• Adhere to safety requirements, including ASTM-approved safety shoes with internal metatarsal protection.
• Support cleanliness and organization of the lab and production areas as time allows.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• A.S. in Electronics, a two-year technical diploma, equivalent military certification, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 1 year of related experience in electronics, manufacturing, or engineering. 3+ years preferred.
• Proficiency with multimeters, oscilloscopes, reading electrical schematics, and working with circuit boards.
• Hands-on troubleshooting experience to determine root cause in electronic test environments.
• Computer literacy and working knowledge of software/programs relevant to test operations, with clear communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and to maintain lab equipment.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience supporting electronics maintenance over machinery or motors.
• Experience building or modifying electronic test fixtures or systems with engineering teams.

Role Logistics & Work Conditions:

• Second shift. Monday to Friday, 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
• Driving a personal vehicle between local sites under 15% of the time. Facilities are within 5 miles.
• Majority of work performed while standing and moving throughout the facility.
• Potential to flex hours for cross-training as business needs require.
• Light Industrial role. Pre-employment drug test required. Visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future.
