Facility Support Engineer BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Facility Support Engineer opportunity in Des Moines, IA.Position Title: Facility Support EngineerLocation: Des Moines, IAAnticipated Start Date: ASAPPlease note this is the target date and is subject to change. BCforward will send official notice ahead of a confirmed start date.Expected Duration: 2 months (Potential chances for extension)Job Type: [FULL TIME] (>%3D40 HRS WEEKLY)], [CONTRACT], [ONSITE]Pay Range: $40/hr to $45/hr on W2Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.). Title: Facility Support EngineerLocation: Des Moines, IADuration: 2 Months (Potential chances for extension) Two resources will be working A-side day shift, Sunday through Tuesday and every other Wednesday.Three resources will be working B-side day shift, Thursday through Saturday and every other Wednesday. CE Facility Support Engineer - Electrical 3:
- Able to complete all tasks listed in the CE Tech Level 1 and Level 2 role description
- Support electrical infrastructures throughout datacenter campus ranging from a single, large-capacity facility to several smaller ones
- Experience with building management systems (EPMS)
- Remote Power Panel (RPP) shutdown of 1 source. Critical Load is still supplied through one source ("N").
- PDU shutdown for power meter replacement.
- Power Interruption Testing (PIT)
- Master controller shutdown or replacement.
- Previous datacenter experience a plus
- Fundamental understanding of the National Electrical Code
- Preferred: Qualified Electrical Worker
- Required: All candidates must hold an OSHA or OSHA-approved NFPA 70E Certification
- Required: Experience with electrical systems in a high availability assembly / manufacturing / critical infrastructure environment such as data centers, oil and gas refineries, hospitals, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, or related fields.
- Required: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Required: 5+ year(s) work/applied learning experience in technical fields (e.g. automotive, electrical, controls, data center)
- Required: Able to work a flexible work schedule which could include 12-hour shifts, rotating shifts, 3-, 4-, or 5-day work weeks
- Required: Basic understanding of how to use Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word)"
