Job Description

We are seeking an Ops Specialist Trade Processing to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in securities operations, trade processing, reconciliation, and cash management and a proven ability to ensure accurate trade accounting, resolve exceptions, and deliver timely cash projections.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure all trades, including straight-through and manual entries, are accurately recorded in the accounting system.
• Reconcile trades between order management systems and trade processing systems.
• Review and resolve trade price deviations and related issues with appropriate parties.
• Manage daily cash flow trading with investment companies, including trade confirmation oversight.
• Coordinate cash raising activities for portfolio expenses, including management fees.
• Coordinate reallocation events to maintain target portfolio allocations.
• Develop and deliver cash projections to clients and stakeholders using defined resources.
• Validate systemic feeds and manual adjustments to support timely and accurate cash projection reporting.
• Communicate professionally with internal and external partners to ensure proper trade entry and minimize risk.
• Contribute to a collaborative team environment within Trade Processing.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience.
• Proficiency with PC applications and standard office software.
• Ability to identify, escalate, and resolve operational problems.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organization and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage time effectively, meet deadlines, and work under pressure.
• Ability to multi-task and collaborate in a team environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with order management and trade processing systems.
• Background in mutual funds, 529 plan administration, or similar investment products.

Work Arrangement & Terms:

• Hybrid schedule: 3 days in office, 2 days remote.
• Weekly hours: 40.
• Expected term: 6 months.
• Engagement type: Contract with temp-to-perm potential.
