Expected Contract Duration: (12 MONTHS)

Job Type: Contract

Pay Range: $65-$70/hr.

[JOB DESCRIPTION]

This request is for an IT Project Manager to help lead a new EMR/Patient Care implementation in Charter House on our Rochester MN campus. Charter House is a Continuous Care Retirement Community (long term care/retirement community) that is part of our organization but is managed by a management company. This is a new relationship. This organization manages other locations, and they are all on the same technology. The organization is currently on MyUnity and needs to move to Point-Click-Care. This individual will bridge IT Clinical Project Services Unit, Charter House Leadership, vendor and the Management Company.

Education: Minimum education and/or experience:

• Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 10 years' experience managing projects ranging from simple to difficult complexity while demonstrating increasing scope and depth of responsibilities, and involving multiple technological environments and/or business areas that IT supports, with demonstrated competency in the application of PMI Process Groups and Knowledge Areas
• OR Master's Degree with a minimum of 7 years' experience managing projects involving Information Technology and/or Healthcare disciplines, ranging from simple to difficult complexity while demonstrating increasing scope and depth of responsibilities, and involving multiple technological environments and/or business areas that IT supports, with demonstrated competency in the application of the PMI Process Groups and Knowledge Areas.

Required:

-Experience with healthcare technology used in Long Term Care settings.

-Familiarity and past implementations of Point-Click-Care

-Point-Click-Care Implementation Experience -Experience coordinating and communicating across organizations and within complex organizational structures.

-Any past work with Life Care Services (Management Company) -Must be able to work very independently and come up to speed quickly

Licensure/Certification Required:

• Possession of current Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, or a comparable current certification from a nationally-recognized project management governance body. This certification must be obtained within three years of date of hire.
