Job Description

We are seeking a Technical Analyst / Product Owner to join our Financial Center release train. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Agile backlog management, user story definition, and Jira-based delivery and a proven ability to translate business needs into actionable requirements and drive value delivery across Agile Release Train ceremonies.

Responsibilities:

  • Capture and support delivery of business and system requirements to meet business goals.
  • Translate between business stakeholders and technical teams to align on needs and solutions.
  • Decompose epics into user stories with acceptance criteria, prioritize work, and lead backlog refinement.
  • Ensure stories meet Definition of Ready and Definition of Done.
  • Use process flows, context diagrams, and use cases to author epics and stories.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers, stakeholders, and peer Delivery Leads for alignment.
  • Remove impediments and participate in Agile team and train routines.
  • Support deployment activities, CRQ approval routines, and quality standards.
  • Maximize value delivery and support production validation during deployments.

Program and ART Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and facilitate ART ceremonies including Backlog Refinement, PI Planning, ART/PO Sync, Scrum of Scrums, System Demos, and Retrospectives.
  • Manage cross-team dependencies within the ART and provide visibility into epic/feature health and PI outcomes.
  • Partner with the Portfolio Manager to maintain a healthy product/program backlog.
  • Facilitate dependency and risk management and impediment removal for the ART.
  • Promote communication and collaboration to support value delivery and PI commitments.
  • Provide status updates and reporting on plans, delivery, timelines, and impediments to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Ensure Enterprise Change Management and policy requirements are met for delivered epics/features.
  • Measure ART delivery, maturity, and performance and review metrics to identify improvements.
  • Capture data to inform product funding and resource needs.
  • Support Jira reporting and team Confluence management.
  • Create and prioritize team work items in alignment with stakeholder needs.

Team Structure and Work Model

  • Agile team of 8-10 software engineers operating on quarterly integrated development cycles with monthly enhancements.
  • Hybrid schedule with a minimum of 3 days onsite. Onsite from day 1.

Interview and Start Details

  • Target start: June or July.
  • Interview format: Video required. Two or three rounds. No in-person requirement.
  • ID verification via Glider.

Submission Guidance

  • Max three candidate submissions per vendor.
  • Include current location, relocation plan, earliest availability, and any required cooling-off period on the resume.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Agile processes, Scrum, and Jira for backlog and delivery management.
  • Ability to analyze end-to-end business processes and negotiate optimal changes with stakeholders.
  • Strong communication, problem solving, and collaboration in a matrix environment.
  • Experience supporting Change/CRQ processes and deployment validation.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office: Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.

Preferred Skills:

  • Prior experience with large financial institutions. Bank of America experience is a plus.
  • Experience facilitating ART ceremonies and using Confluence for documentation.
