BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated DS - Mainframe Developer for a Hybrid opportunity in New Jersey, NJ!

Position Title: RM - DS - Mainframe Developer

Location: New Jersey, NJ! Hybrid

Expected Duration: 12 Months with Potential Extension or can be converted to a fulltime employment.

Job Type: Contract (>%3D40 HRS WEEKLY), [CONTRACT], [HYBRID]

  Primary job duties/responsibilities:

• 5-7 years of experience in Information Technology
• How systems work Solid mainframe knowledge and skills, with some or all the following z/OS based skills (TSO, JCL, ISPF, SDSF, etc)
• Programming languages (COBOL, REXX, VISION/Mark IV a plus)
• Development & maintaining critical Mainframe applications In-depth knowledge of COBOL, JCL, CA7, CICS, DB2, SQL, VSAM 5
• IBM mainframe program product knowledge and experience (CA7, Control-D, Connect: Direct/NDM, CA-View/SAR) Computer
• Knowledge of message and transmission protocols such as MQ, NDM and sFTP Knowledge of CICS Webservices Experience with DFSORT, ICETOOL
• Good to have: Mainframe DevOps experience Mainframe Modernization experience such as converting to ETL, Java, Tableau etc

  Nice-to-have skills:

• Mainframe DevOps

• Bank Experience
