BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Supply Chain Analyst III for an opportunity in Fremont, CA!

Position Title: Supply Chain Analyst III

Location: Fremont, CA - Onsite

Anticipated Start Date: ASAP

Expected Duration: 12+ Months

Job Type: Contract - [FULL TIME (40 Hours a week)]

Pay Range: $55/hr. to $60/hr.

Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.).

Requirements:

Summary:
The main function of a Supply Chain Analyst is to define, build, manage and measure global asset management. A typical Supply Chain Analyst may be responsible for buying goods and services, and analyze performance of suppliers.

Job Responsibilities:
* Lead the technical development of innovative inventory planning and logistics processes
* Review and potentially optimize suppliers based on price, quality, selection, service, support, availability and other relevant factors.
* Own the end-to-end asset management process and systems globally
* Define and analyze metrics that inform the success of products
* Drive automation on an aggressive timeline with a team of world-class engineers and designers
* Develop and maintain a well-coordinated internal relationship with key decision makers and with the wider enterprise organization
* Approve purchases of the highest quality products at the lowest possible price and in correct amounts.
* Approve purchase orders, solicit bid proposals, and review requisitions for goods and services.
* Instruct staff on how to resolve problems related to undelivered goods.
* Instruct staff on methods of negotiation, renegotiation and administration of contracts with suppliers, vendors and other representatives.
* Confer with staff, users, and vendors to discuss defective or unacceptable goods or services and determine corrective action.
* Evaluate and monitor contract performance to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and to determine need for changes.

Skills:
* Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, negotiation skills and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to analyze financial reports, price proposals and other technical data.
* Ability to accurately document and record customer/client information.
* Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations related to purchasing.
* Knowledge of supply chain management.
* Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word and Excel.

Education/Experience:
* Bachelor's degree in finance or a related business field required.
