The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, managing, and coordinating localization projects from translation to launch-ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage comprehensive localization schedules, including translation, QA, and launch phases. Maintain open communication with stakeholders such as Localization Program Managers, Language Managers, Engineers, QA, Vendors, and Content Designers.
- Communicate project expectations, timelines, and test results clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders across multiple business units.
- Create and execute basic test plans for linguists; identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements.
- Analyze existing workflows and tools; recommend optimizations and pilot new processes to drive efficiency and quality.
- Work independently and make informed decisions under pressure; prioritize tasks to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
- Triage, prioritize, and escalate internationalization bugs; collaborate with product teams to ensure issues are addressed before launch.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in project management, localization, and QA with successful product launches across multiple locales.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong understanding of task prioritization, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Solid understanding of internationalization challenges when developing global products.
- Experience using task management tools (e.g., Asana, JIRA, Trello, Microsoft Project, Smartsheet).
- Experience coordinating cross-functional teams including engineering, marketing, legal, and external vendors.
- Ability to make independent decisions, troubleshoot issues, and optimize workflows under pressure.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with localization platforms, file formats, and CAT tools or similar in-house tools that manage or automate translation workflows.
- Understanding of product and software development processes.
- Experience in software localization, localization program management, or managing localization technology solutions.
- Background in hardware, augmented reality (AR), virtual reality (VR), advertising, or payments testing is a plus.
Must-Have Skills:
- Hands-on experience with tools like Asana, JIRA, Trello, Microsoft Project, and Smartsheet to organize and track project tasks efficiently.
- Proven ability to manage and improve localization workflows for multiple markets and languages.
- Experience in timeline management and resource coordination.
- Ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical teams, ensuring alignment and clarity across stakeholders.
- Strong analytical thinking, issue resolution, and process optimization skills.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Background in Localization and Quality Assurance (QA).
- Technical proficiency with localization platforms and CAT tools.
- Ability to develop test plans and evaluate localization workflows.
Experience & Education:
- Years of Experience: 3-4 years of relevant project coordination or localization experience.
- Degree/Certification: Bachelor's degree not required; prior project management experience is preferred.
