Job Description
We are seeking a Program Manager IV to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in building and scaling programs, vendor management, financial operations, and data-driven decision making and a proven ability to define and deliver strategic initiatives that improve operational efficiency and impact.
Responsibilities:
- Define and manage strategic initiatives that improve team efficiency and impact, establishing operational systems and outcomes.
- Identify and partner with stakeholders on processes, templates, and guidelines to improve team optimization and documentation.
- Partner with leadership on effective team communication, information distribution, and cross-team collaboration.
- Partner with Sourcing and Vendor Engagements to enable customized DSS contracting processes.
- Manage relationships with preferred vendors and streamline intake with business-specific operations and processes.
- Support research planning and allocation by tracking, aligning, and executing project-specific contracting/POs and invoice tracking against open POs.
- Manage the operational and financial efficiency of the DSS budget by maintaining accurate financial datasets, files, and reports.
- Perform data analysis and provide insights to inform and support business decisions.
- Prepare metric-driven status reports by gathering, analyzing, and summarizing relevant information.
- Define clear program roadmaps, provide frequent updates, identify and communicate risks and adjustments, and ensure commitments are delivered.
- Provide flexible approaches that meet team needs and remove blocks quickly.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 8+ years of relevant professional experience.
- Experience establishing programs and leading them end-to-end while scaling for growth.
- Experience integrating AI tools and workflows into business operations or program management, with a focus on responsible and ethical adoption.
- Proven vendor management and contracting proficiency, including POs and invoicing.
- Strong data analysis skills to inform decisions and drive change.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management across multiple locations and levels, including executives.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience building operational systems for research planning and budget management.
- Background in process optimization and documentation standards.
