BCforward will send official notice ahead of a confirmed start date.Expected Duration: 12 MonthsExtension/Permanent: Yes, based on business impact and performanceJob Type: [FULL TIME (>%3D40 HRS WEEKLY)Pay Range: $14/hr - $16 /hr on (W2). We are seeking a detail-oriented Document Processing / Eligibility Support Specialist to assist with reviewing, processing, and managing eligibility-related documents. This role supports accurate data handling, document scanning, and system uploads while ensuring compliance with administrative and office guidelines. Key Responsibilities
- Review applications and supporting documents for eligibility processing
- Prepare, barcode, scan, index, and upload documents into FAA's Document Management System (OnBase) and/or HEAPlus
- Validate that all documents are scanned and indexed under the correct eligibility type
- Send appropriate notices and emails to applicants
- Update and correct mailing addresses in the system
- Document, scan, and validate returned mail
- Sort and prepare returned mail for scanning and research
- Refer mail and documentation to appropriate personnel as needed
- Follow administrative and office/unit guidelines
- Coordinate with translation services or bilingual staff when required
- Compile data and complete reports accurately and on time
- Strong listening, oral, and written communication skills
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt to changing environments and new technologies
- Strong multitasking and prioritization skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience with computer software programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Google Workspace
- Knowledge of office practices and procedures
- Experience operating terminal/computer systems to input data and review case records
