• Our team is seeking a highly skilled Oracle OTM Consultant to join our dynamic team and contribute to our mission of leveraging cutting-edge technology to drive business success.
• The Oracle OTM Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing
• solutions using Oracle Transportation Management. This role requires a deep understanding of transportation logistics, data integration, and supply chain management within the Oracle OTM technology stack.
• The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving and client communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• This role demands a self-motivated, independent problem solver who is passionate about delving into intricate details, raising pertinent questions, making informed recommendations, and driving impactful results.

Solution Architecture and Design:

• Design and architect scalable solutions using Oracle OTM to manage and optimize transportation logistics and supply chain operations.
• Develop detailed technical specifications and data models to support business requirements.
• Identify technical design and data model risks, confirm their validity, and devise
• strategies to mitigate them.
• Actively participate in technical design workshops alongside Engineering Teams and business stakeholders.
• Clearly translate and communicate technical requirements and solutions to the business
• using story-based narratives, and present strategies and recommendations to executives.

Data Integration and ETL Processes:

• Integrate various data sources (e.g., ERP, WMS, TMS).
• Implement data pipelines and workflows to automate data integration tasks.

  Client Communication and Program Management:

• Adhere strictly to established project planning methodologies and Agile development processes.
• Lead sessions to understand client needs in technical Oracle OTM requirements, and act as a crucial technical resource throughout the implementation process.
• Assess client requirements, propose effective solutions, and communicate the capabilities and limitations of Oracle OTM and other related applications.
• Identify client process pain points and gaps in current best practices.

Customization and Configuration:

• Customize Oracle OTM to meet specific business requirements, including creating
• custom attributes, segments, and data models.
• Configure data connectors and integrations to external systems and applications.

Collaboration and Communication:

• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including logistics, operations, IT, and data science, to understand business needs and deliver effective solutions.
• Provide technical guidance and support to team members and stakeholders.
• Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.

Troubleshooting and Support:

• Identify and resolve technical issues related to Oracle OTM, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
• Provide ongoing support and maintenance for Oracle OTM solutions.

  Documentation and Best Practices:

• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all development, integration, and customization processes.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in transportation management and Oracle OTM.
• Ensure compliance with data privacy and security regulations.

The Team:

Deloitte's Supply Chain and Network Operations team helps organizations enable their go-to-market and coverage strategy by designing and deploying right-sized logistics and transportation management solutions. We focus on a variety of supply chain capabilities such as transportation planning, logistics optimization, supply chain visibility, and performance management. Additionally, we design, build, and operate complex data ecosystems to support the supply chain function and enable related operational and analytical/predictive reporting.

Qualifications Required:

• Bachelor's, degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Supply Chain
• Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience working with Oracle OTM.
• Proven experience in data integration, data management, and data analytics.
• Experience working with transportation management platforms across logistics and supply chain technology stacks.
• Ability to travel up to 50% on average based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

Preferred:

• Proficiency in SQL, data modeling, and ETL processes.
• Experience with APIs and data integration tools.
• Strong understanding of data privacy and security principles.
• Familiarity with Oracle ERP and WMS applications.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and accuracy.
