S-SFA Customer Success Representative
BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated S-SFA Customer Success Representative in NYC, NY
Position Title: S-SFA Customer Success RepresentativeLocation: NYC, NY
Anticipated Start Date: May 1st 2025

Job Type: FULL TIME (>%3D40 HRS WEEKLY), [Contract], [Hybrid]
Pay Range: $45.00 - $47.44/hr.
Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.). Scope is roughly:
- Manage SFA/REACH projects to support customer contract/file submission prior to onboarding, including contract review
- Meet with / white glove service S-SFA/REACH host accounts for any/all inquiries about their accounts or services
- Understand and communicate SFA/REACH eligibility requirements to prospective customers
- Communicate with internal teams specific customer requirements to ensure their needs are met
- Critical Thinking and Problem-Solving: Ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions.
- Contract Analysis: Proficiency in reviewing and interpreting contracts, with a focus on DER (Distributed Energy Resources) program compensation models.
- Customer Service Excellence: Strong interpersonal skills to manage and support business customers who rely on Con Edison for their revenue.
- Technical Proficiency: Comfortable using and adapting to multiple technology systems that are frequently updated or enhanced.
- Ability to clearly explain complex concepts and answer customer questions effectively.
- Self-Management: Capable of operating with minimal supervision, demonstrating initiative and reliability.
- Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a highly complex and rapidly changing environment.
- Proactive Learning: Commitment to continuous learning and staying ahead of industry changes.
- Resilience: Capacity to handle uncertainty and remain effective under pressure.
- Dynamic Problem-Solving: Quick thinking and flexibility to address unexpected challenges.

- Experience in Energy Sector: Prior experience working with DER assets or in the energy industry.
- Educational Background: Degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- Project Management Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical abilities to understand and interpret data related to DER programs.
- Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Systems: Familiarity with CRM software and other customer service tools.
- Change Management: Experience in managing and adapting to organizational changes.
- Innovation: Ability to innovate and improve processes in response to evolving circumstances.
- Empathy: Understanding and addressing customer needs and concerns.
- Team Collaboration: Ability to work well within a team and collaborate with other departments.
