Shift: Sunday-Thursday, 11:00 PM-7:30 AM.

Job Description
We are seeking a Quality Control Analyst II to join our team. The candidate will perform hands-on analytical testing in a GMP laboratory, generate and analyze data, and document results to support raw material, in-process, finished goods, stability, and cleaning validation testing while following regulations and SOPs.
Responsibilities:
- Perform reliable analytical testing per USP/NF/EP/JP/FCC or customer methods, including Dissolution, Titration, Polarimetry, Loss on Drying, Viscosity, Residue on Ignition, Heavy Metals, FTIR, HPLC, and GC.
- Maintain accurate, contemporaneous records of all analyses performed.
- Interpret and communicate analytical results and issues with clarity and timeliness.
- Schedule and execute daily tasks in an organized and efficient manner.
- Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment and instrumentation.
- Follow laboratory safety and chemical hygiene practices and promote a safe work environment.
- Learn and apply standard operating procedures and test methods to proficiency.
- Collaborate in a flow-to-the-work team environment and support housekeeping.
- Perform peer review of analytical testing and documentation.
- Draft SOPs as needed and support continuous improvement.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a scientific field, or a non-scientific degree with 2+ years of relevant material testing laboratory experience.
- Experience with basic laboratory equipment and analytical techniques such as HPLC, GC, FTIR, titration, and dissolution.
- Strong documentation practices and attention to detail with first-pass accuracy.
- Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and meet deadlines while standing for extended periods.
- Proficiency in English with effective communication skills.
- Basic lab safety knowledge and safe handling of chemicals of varying potency.
- General computer literacy, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
Preferred Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or Biology.
- 2-5 years of experience in Quality, Laboratory, Clinical, or Chemical Manufacturing, including internships or co-ops.
- Pharmaceutical industry experience.
