BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Vendor Data Engineer Professional Job for an opportunity at 100% remote but needs to be in either PST or EST time zone!

Position Title: Vendor Data Engineer

Location: 100% remote but needs to be in either PST or EST time zone

Anticipated Start Date: ASAP

Expected Duration: Contract of 09 Months (Hours per Week: 40) and possibility of extension

Job Type: Contract and Remote

Pay Range: $38 - $40/hr. on w2

Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.).

Top Skills:

Years of Experience Required: 2+ if they have experience in the right set of tools if not 3-4 years in data experience

Degrees or certifications required: Bachelor's degree in a computer related field and any certifications around data and computers.

ADLS/Scope scripts | 1-2 years of experience

SQL experience data processing experience | 1-2 years of experience

Data modeling | 1-2 years of experience

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

• Implements complete data architectures, including appropriate data schemas, as well as additional components appropriate to the database design for consuming data from varied data sources.
• Designs and implements automated data flows for extraction, transformation and load
• Optimizes data aggregations while staying compliant to data privacy policies
• Authors robust technical documentation, data schema and real time data telemetry specs
• Builds and maintains moderately complex data visualizations
• Communicates and coordinates with external and internal teams
• May be responsible for developing requirements and drafting high level design documents and selling designs to key stakeholders.

  Skills:

• 3-5 years' work-related experience required.
• Must have experience with Microsoft SQL Server.
• Must have experience with building moderately complex data visualizations on real data
• Experience with Azure Cloud and any data flow automation is a plus.
• Must have experience with physical implementation of moderately complex logical database designs and relational database concepts.
• Strong communication, critical thinking and problem-solving skills required.
• Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment required. Must have the ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field required.
• 3+ years of work-related experience in data engineering, analysis and business intelligence.

  Preferred Qualification:

• Experience with gaming
• Experience handling gaming data
• Experience working with Azure data & ETL products.
