Job Description:

Quality Control Analyst - Manufacturing Environment

Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Quality Control Analyst to perform both routine and specialized testing within a manufacturing environment, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and quality requirements. This role involves conducting chemical and microbiological assays, troubleshooting processes, and maintaining laboratory instrumentation while adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP). The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and quality of manufactured products and supporting the development of innovative testing methods.
Key Responsibilities:
Core Duties:

• Execute chemical and microbiological testing following established protocols.
• Analyze and interpret data for compliance with specifications, reporting any deviations or anomalies.
• Perform routine equipment calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with team members to accomplish quality control sample testing requirements.
• Develop and optimize testing methods, revising standard operating procedures as needed.
• Participate in laboratory data trending, review, and reporting for regulatory and internal documentation.
• Provide training and guidance to new personnel in laboratory practices and procedures.
• Use electronic systems to collect, process, and generate data reports.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards, promptly addressing any incidents or concerns.

Additional Contributions:

• Attend and actively participate in team, departmental, and corporate meetings.
• Support routine projects and process improvements within the laboratory.

Requirements:
Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in Biology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, or a related field with at least 1 year of relevant experience.
• Associate Degree with 4 years of relevant experience.
• High School Diploma with 6 years of relevant experience.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of cGMP and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).
• Proficiency in laboratory techniques and the ability to troubleshoot routine issues.
• Experience with state-of-the-art technologies for testing and method optimization.
• Ability to manage data entry, analysis, and reporting with precision.
• Commitment to fostering a culture of safety and quality.

Special Conditions:

• Employees accessing the warehouse must successfully pass the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) Security Threat Assessment (STA).

Location:

• Onsite role based in Oceanside.
