BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Epic Application Developer (Inpatient Orders/Order Transmittal Analyst)

Position Title: Epic Application Developer (Inpatient Orders/Order Transmittal Analyst)

Location: Remote

Anticipated Start Date: March 10th, 2025

Expected Duration: 6 Months with Potential for Conversion

Job Type: FULL TIME (>%3D40 HRS WEEKLY), [Contract], [Remote]

Pay Range: $63.00 - $67.00/hr.

Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.).

Have a six-month (with possible extension) need for an IP Orders and IP Order Transmittal analyst.

Job Description: Epic Application Developer

Overview:

The Application Developer designs, builds, and configures applications to meet business and clinical needs. This role involves leading team decisions, collaborating across departments, and providing innovative solutions using Epic Systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Application Development: Design, implement, and enhance application features with a focus on Epic Systems.
  • Collaboration & Leadership:
  • Engage cross-functional teams for seamless application integration.
  • Lead team decision-making, mentor team members, and manage performance.
  • Coordinate with clinical stakeholders to gather and translate requirements.
  • Support & Maintenance: Provide technical support, troubleshoot issues, and implement updates to align with clinical workflows.
  • Documentation & Compliance: Maintain accurate system configurations, workflows, and procedural documentation.
  • Project Coordination: Collaborate with project managers and service teams to transition projects to operational support.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct reviews and participate in quality management to ensure deliverable excellence.
Qualifications:

* Certification: Epic Inpatient Orders and Inpatient Order Transmittal certified.

* Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years in application development and technical support in clinical settings.
  • Proven troubleshooting and issue resolution skills.
* Technical Proficiency:

  • Advanced skills in Epic Systems.
  • Advanced skills in Configuration & Release Management.
  • Communication: Ability to liaise effectively with technical and clinical teams.
This role requires a strategic thinker, mentoring abilities, and a collaborative approach to enhance clinical and operational efficiency through effective application development.
