Job Description
We are seeking a Technical Program Manager, Audio Hardware to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in audio hardware program management across consumer devices and a proven ability to deliver complex, cross-functional hardware modules from definition through validation and launch.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver audio hardware programs within scope, quality, schedule, budget, and risk constraints.
- Lead program-level planning, cross-functional coordination, and complex issue resolution with clear communications.
- Oversee scope definition, requirements, schedules, budgets, status reporting, build management, and risk/issue management.
- Drive engineering deliverables including audio subsystem specifications, DOEs, ECNs, and validation results.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Project estimating, scheduling, tracking, and implementation planning in large organizations.
- Proven people management, team building, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to operate in changing environments, manage competing priorities, and make sound judgments.
- Quick learner of business processes with effective collaboration across organizational levels.
- Risk assessment expertise and application of management principles to technology products and functions.
- Experience with hardware product development lifecycle and build management.
- Vendor management experience, including flexible hours and travel for on-site support when needed.
- 5+ years of audio TPM or engineering experience with consumer products such as phones, tablets, watches, or glasses.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical field.
Preferred Skills:
- MBA or related advanced degree.
- PMP or PMI certification.
