Job Description
We are seeking an A&T Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in hydraulic and electrical component assembly, precision testing, and troubleshooting and a proven ability to diagnose test failures, recommend rework, and meet production and quality requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Perform hydraulic and electrical assembly on complex components, assemblies, and systems for new production and repair/overhaul.
- Use mechanical and electronic measurement equipment, specialized fixtures, tooling, gauging, and torque mechanisms to meet build requirements.
- Work from drawings, work instructions, and parts lists to execute assembly and test operations.
- Set up and conduct operational tests on high precision test stands using hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic test equipment.
- Diagnose test failures, assess hardware condition, and provide recommended rework and configuration changes.
- Document performance results and situational findings with clear written communication.
- Support day-to-day production administration activities within the team.
- Occasionally travel to customer facilities or other locations to service or support hardware and work off-shift hours as needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience with hydraulic assembly, electrical component assembly, and precision test equipment.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, work instructions, and parts lists.
- Proficiency with measurement tools, specialized fixtures, gauging, and torque devices.
- Strong troubleshooting skills to diagnose test failures and recommend rework or configuration changes.
- Clear written communication to document test results and conditions.
- High School Diploma or formal training equivalency with 5 years related experience in a technical field, or 3 years of directly related experience.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience operating high precision hydraulic test stands and related data acquisition systems.
- Background in repair and overhaul environments and production administration within team-based operations.
